Analyze Business

Analysis of a business is conducted using Codiligent’s proprietary analysis tool which is based on sound principals of corporate finance and produces more than 70 pages of information.  This is used to independently determine the business’ value, and determine its strengths and weaknesses to help ensure that the buyer knows what he or she is buying.  This is particularly important because many businesses that are for sale have been priced using simplistic multipliers or rules of thumb, which may be highly inaccurate.  Codiligent’s analysis may be used as the foundation for negotiating an optimal deal.  The analysis relies on three primary approaches to value:

1. A market comparable approach to value

2. A capitalized earnings approach to value

3. A discounted cash flow method of valuation
