Do you like fruitcake? Usually around the holiday season there are jokes about fruitcake being an unwanted item perfect for re-gifting, something you use as a door stop, etc. I'm not a fan of traditional fruitcake, but the Italian version, Panettone, is an entirely different story. Yum! If you've not had it, you may be pleasantly surprised. Locally, Lovejoy Bakers sells it, as does Zupan's.
