This is no knock on Starbucks or national chain restaurants - many do a great job, but what drives me as a business broker is supporting entrepreneurs - the ambitious few who take considerable risk to add value to others, and who are more directly tied to the community in which they operate. Did you know that according to the SBA, small businesses create 64% of net new jobs? November 30, 2013 is Small Business Saturday - a day, in particular, to honor and support small businesses with our pocket books.
