Packaging
How a business is packaged will impact a business buyer’s level of interest, their opinion of value, and whether they want to continue the business acquisition process. Codiligent business brokers’ triad packaging system includes the development of three distinct packages designed to get qualified buyers to initiate and complete the acquisition process:
Introduction Package - a 2-6 page overview designed to attract initial interest. It does not reveal the business’ identity.
Confidential Information Package - a comprehensive book that provides enough information to make a buying decision, which is released to qualified buyers who sign a confidentiality agreement.
Due Diligence Package - A compilation of commonly requested documentation that buyers verify before completing an acquisition.
